FBC Student Ministry Mission Statement:
To lead Junior High and High School students to a soul changing, life altering encounter with Jesus Christ.
Then, to mentor that Junior High and High School student to live the way of Jesus through Missional Living, Truth, Christian Spirituality, Service, and Community.
We offer many activities and events throughout the year, but we are about 5 things:
Missional Living- to live the way of Jesus so that we are the presence of Christ to everyone we meet through our words and our actions
Truth - Jesus is Truth and the Bible is His Word designed to lead us to Him, to Truth.
Christian Spirituality - as believers, the love of Jesus that created us and all other things lives in us. It should - through our gifts, abilities, interests, and passions - be creatively expressed to bring glory to the Kingdom of God.
Service - as believers, we are called to selflessly serve the body of Christ.
Community - we recognize that we cannot live the Christian life in isolation. We were created for relationship with both God and others and so we intentionally seek out deep, meaningful friendships that challenge us to live the way of Jesus and bring glory to God the Father.
