Heart and Hands Ministries Update

When Pat Scarborough began giving her report at our Quarterly Church conference you could tell things were different. As she shared highlight after highlight, everyone began praising God for the work He is doing through the volunteers and staff at Heart & Hands Ministries!

  • Since the first day of the year, 40 families have registered representing 130 individuals, as the ministry continues to swell with growth!

  • For Back to School, H&H sponsored the “Apple Tree” Project providing new school outfits for 60 children in the area!

  • H&H joined a “Walk for You” shoe campaign through Holland ISD, walking the Holland ISD track to provide 80 children with new shoes! (the shoe campaign was the idea of an FBC Salado member)

  • Partnering for the first time with 7 local churches to host its Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon, H&H relocated its venue and served a full course meal for the community at Salado’s SIS school cafeteria!

  • To cap off an incredible year, H&H had the opportunity to provide Christmas stocking-bags full of basic items to several families in need during the holiday season!
