Jason and Jaime Goodman have been a part of the FBC Salado family since 2018. They joined the church after, “Our small group/bible study amplified the sense of belonging and both our children shared their excitement for their new Sunday school groups,” said the Goodmans.
Having often visited friends over the years in the greater-Salado area and always enjoyed the community and the sense of home, when Jason had to relocate to Austin for work, he and Jaime knew they wanted to raise their family in a community much like their roots. Salado was it.
When the Goodmans visited FBC, “it didn’t take us long to have faith that God’s plan was in action,” they said. “Our daughter jumped at the chance to join the children’s Bible Drill team and our son jumped into action finding many new friends.”
Jaime has enjoyed helping out with the ongoing Children’s ministry, along with special events like Vacation Bible School. Jason has participated in many men’s ministry events, and is on the Reenvision Team who are working to craft a new vision and campus masterplan for FBC.
“We are blessed to be in Salado and to have been led to visit and join FBC!” say both Jason and Jaime. The Goodmans have one daughter and one son.
