Robert was born in Dallas, TX. His family settled south of Fort Worth where Robert attended church throughout much of his childhood. At 12 years old the Lord saved him and by 17 years old he was called to the ministry.
Robert’s journey in this calling began in 2003 when he partnered with various ministries and churches throughout the United States as an itinerant speaker and teacher. In the years following Robert served as an intern, interim student pastor, and in 2006 as student/associate pastor while attending Dallas Baptist University. Robert Graduated with a Bachelors of Arts & Sciences in Biblical Studies and Communications. Subsequently, in 2012 Robert accepted the position of student/associate pastor at First Baptist Bonham until 2016.
The desire to share God’s word has grown tremendously inside Robert as he has ventured out into the business world in 2016. This experience promulgated an increased fervor to teach and preach and continue the gospel ministry calling God placed on his life at 17. Thus, Robert, in attempt to be faithful to this call, has stepped out in faith once again to become available to churches for preaching, teaching, disciple now weekends, conferences, and consulting.
Currently, Robert and his wife Jenna reside in Houston, where she is a nutritionist. They are members at Houston’s First Baptist Church and teach a Life Bible study for young married couples.
Eat.Sleep.Breathe. is about stirring emotions that allow people to be more receptive to Christ. God gave us the ability to play music and even led some of us through the ups and downs of the secular music world, finally bringing us together to glorify Him. There is worship music, and there is Christian rock music, but it is rare to find a rock band who speaks the powerful name of Jesus without hiding Him behind poetic metaphors that only hint at His existence. We are not afraid. In fact, we are empowered by He who gave us the gift of music, and we are here to share that with the world.
