Music Ministry

Our music ministry is designed to allow people from diverse musical expressions to participate and serve. While the method of expression is different between our two services, the goal of our music is the same. We want to create an atmosphere where people can connect with God, expressing praise, gratitude and edifying one another.

Our core values of worship music

  • Corporate Worship is foundational to the life of the church: We believe that worship is an encounter with God. That encounter, as we see in scripture, leads to transformation. It also leads to a deeper relationship with God.

  • Worship should be participatory: Whether worship is led by a choir or a band, corporate worship is meant to involve everyone. We believe scripture instructs us to “speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord” (Eph 5:19). We sing songs of praise, adoration, and declaration to celebrate God and His work in our lives.

  • Worship should be Intergenerational: God has created us with vast diversity but we are all unified in Christ. We want to use music that is familiar and accessible. We use a variety of musical styles and expressions to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds.

We have two teams of worship musicians that serve in corporate worship. Our first service is at 8:30a, and our second service at 11:00a

  • The 8:30a service is choir and piano driven, led by the worship choir. Music selections are from more traditional sources such as hymns, but modern arrangements of hymns and modern praise songs are also included. Additional instruments may added to enhance the musical diversity of the service. The first service worship team rehearses every Wednesday night from 7p -8p in the choir room.

  • The second service is led by E4 Worship Band with a focus on more modern mainstream worship music. You can follow the band on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to get the latest news on what they are working on.
