Welcome to the Children's Ministry at FBC Salado!
Our top priority is to keep your children safe while showing them, they are LOVED and teaching the TRUTH of JESUS CHRIST. Our Children’s Ministry is filled with volunteers and teachers who have a personal relationship with Jesus and want to share His love with your child, no matter the age.
Sundays
9am- Worshiping with our children is one of the most intentional ways we can parent! We want our families to feel welcome to worship together, no matter the age of the child.
If you would like to make use of our Preschool Department during the worship service, babies-4yr are welcome to join their friends in their classrooms.
10:30am – Sunday school is a great place to dig deeper into scripture with your peers. Kindergarten – 6th grade classes use our Gospel Project Curriculum, a weekly Bible study that helps kids dive deep into the big story of the Bible—God’s plan to rescue His people through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Check-In Procedure: When you arrive at the Preschool Department, please check in your child (babies-4yrs) using our Kid Check system on the iPad. Your child’s teacher will ask for your ‘parent tag’ when you pick up your child.
Wednesdays
5pm – dinner with the family! Join our church family as we talk about our week and connect over delicious food - $5 a person ($3 for kids) or a $15 cap for your entire family.
6-7pm – Children’s Activities
Nursery and Preschool rooms are open.
Kingdom Kids – kindergarten through 3rd grade. Our hour will consist of games and activities centered around The Jesus Storybook Bible.
Bible Drill – 4th -6th grade join together in an upbeat environment to develop memory skills that will teach students to effectively handle the Bible, increase the student’s knowledge of the Bible, and learn how to apply the meaning of the passages to their lives.
*Safety – your child’s safety is one of our greatest concerns and priorities. Each of our volunteers and teachers have gone through a background check and Sexual Abuse Awareness training, both through Ministry Safe.
