Student Ministry at FBC Salado is here to help students Belong, Grow, and Serve. This happens by connecting students in significant relationships and developing a worshipping community; leading students to become disciples for Christ and equipping them to be faithful witnesses in the world.
Each week students gather together in the Student Ministry building to worship and hear from God's Word at Midweek, our Wednesday evening youth gathering. We also gather on Sunday mornings for Sunday School to build community around the Word through grade-level small groups.
Together with camps, Discipleship Now (DNow) Weekends, and day-to-day connecting, students and their parents can find the resources and the support they need to navigate this phase of life’s journey.
SUNDAY SCHOOL - 10:30a
Sunday School gatherings are a complement to the Sunday Worship Service at 9:00a and serve as a place for students to engage God’s Word together, and honestly and openly ask questions about their faith in a small group setting. It is meant to be a loving and grace-filled place where students will find a community of Christ-centered people who want to see them come to know Jesus, grow in their faith, and want to walk with them as they follow Christ.
MIDWEEK WEDNESDAY - 6:00p
Midweek is our Wednesday night youth gathering. It's a great time of fellowship, worship, and teaching. We have an optional dinner time at 6pm, with a $3 dinner option. Our activities then begin with student-led worship, followed by a message from God’s Word & discussion time. We finish with the night at about 7:30. These messages are oriented to the lives of teenagers. If you are a parent of a teenager, you are welcome to stay for our activities so that we can connect with you as well. We'd love for you to join us!
GROWTH GROUPS
Growth Groups are student-led fellowship & Bible study gatherings that take place in homes. These gatherings are gender-specific, and they take place on various nights each month. Email Lucas or Ashley to find out how you can stay updated on dates and locations!
